Sleeping with sirens

"If I'm James Dean, Then You're Audrey Hepburn" starts singing right at the beginning. The lead singer has a voice that`s kind of high when he sings, but goes considerably low when he screams. And me being a girl in general think he is actually pretty hot considering i`m talking about them on a professional note. But the band itself are quite fascinating to me, their style doesn`t really match the plot of the video. Their clothes suit them as individuals but not the song. The video is kinda sad but i was engrowthed in it and i just couldn`t stop watching it. The song is about love, "They say that love is forever, and forever is all that i need" it`s got a moral/motto and to me that is, love is true so believe in it. My motto to the song goes really well with the video, because near the end the man find the girl he loves, she`s sitting on a chair at the end of a hallway and he`s walking through it ignoring all the other women who want him. love is a challenge, if you ignore the distractions you`ll get your reward. And they finally kiss. The band name really goes well with this song, the siren is the girl. It`s an extremely romantic song and video. "you bring out the beast in me, i felt the love from the moment we kiss." This is the type of music that has a punk rock vibe going through it. But screamo mixed in there aswell. It`s not suppose to work but it does, with his voice, the musical arts of the other band members, the video, the lyrics. It fits in with each other perfectly. I just can`t stop listening to this song.

"If you can`t hang" is also a song by "sleeping with sirens". It starts off the lead singer walks on and there`s a delay then he starts singing. There`s water on the drums which really adds effect when the sticks hit off the snare with a lot of power. The style of clothing chosen in this video really represent the members personalities. And the song itself has the same genre as "If I'm James Dean, Then You're Audrey Hepburn" Punk rock but screamo mixed. Again it`s about love but in a more depressing manner, it`s more about heartbreak/complications within a relationship. "baby if you can`t hang, then there`s the door." It`s as if he and his girlfriend have had a fight and he`s asking her if she can`t take it, then just leave. "I met a girl at 23, she meant the world to me, so i gave her everything and she did the same for me." Again love with it ups and downs. "such a pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty face, but turned into a pretty big waste of my time." He was in love but it turned sour and that`s where "baby if you can`t hang, then there`s the door." comes into play. The song is absolutely brilliant. This is going on my download list. I suggest it goes on yours.This is personally one of my favourite songs by "Sleeping with sirens" If i had the chance to see these guys in concert i would jump at the chance, and hopefully so would you.

"With ears to see, and eyes to hear" is also on my top 3 "sleeping with sirens" songs. In this video all the band members are acting like prats (not in the mean way) and just acting like any other guy. This song is about best friends but turned sour, The real thing it`s about is betrayal. "True friends lie underneath, these witty words i don`t believe, I can`t believe a damn thing they say anymore, Lie! Liar you`ll pay for your sins. Now! Liar I know all the places you`ve been" This betrayal theme is kind of depressing but has a real meaning, Know who you friends are, they lie they aren`t worth your time. The video is kind of quirky and hilarious, but surprisingly matches the song. In the song it`s about best friends not being truthful and honest and the video he(the lead singer) is hanging out with his best friends(band mates) and messing around, harassing people and just acting like teenage lads. That is what i like about this band, they are committed to what they do which is what makes there music unique and fun-filled. You have to download this from itunes.
